Do you wear a Uniform?
No, we don't.
We feel that uniforms make people feel uncomfortable and draw attention to them when out and about. We want our clients to feel like they are being looked out for by a family friend, not a carer.
Do you take your clients shopping?
Yes, we do!
This counts as assisting in your loved one in their day-to-day activities. We also will accompany them to hairdressers and other appointments.
Do you help with housework?
Yes, we are happy to assist your loved one with anything, from helping with the washing, to changing the beds, and cleaning up.
Are you contactable outside of hours?
Yes, we are reachable in any types of emergencies. We are happy to give our contact details over to your family contact (such as your loved one’s mum) in any case of personal query and or emergency.
Do you work with social services?
Yes, we work alongside the social services, so that we can accommodate to your loved ones and their individuals needs. Social services only get involved in very special cases.
Do we share your information?
Everything that we do is private and confidential, unless there is a safeguarding issue with your loved one. With concern to a clients health and or mental well-being, we will contact social services or the police if necessary.
